The club is keen to continue to involve the 2 bench players. They have been integral to our success to date. Our aggression in the field has been light years ahead of previous campaigns and I attribute much of that to the energy of our younger players. However, juggling extra players is tough on captains and even batsmen, especially when the subbed out player stands 1 metre over the boundary in full kit (and confuses everyone). On Tuesday, fielders who are off will be required to wear a hi viz bib (just like the Test cricketers now do but even brighter). Oncoming players will hand the bib to the outgoing player who will need to put it on immediately. Sam will be able to spot players off the ground very quickly and that might mean coming on to bowl the next over. Good luck to everyone. Please get there early.
